What is the safest method to Root REDMI 5 to recover lost files and folders? I have deleted some important photos and clips while cleaning the junks in my REDMI 5 mobile. Have tried using dozens of different android file recovery apps but all of them are asking to ROOT the mobile first. Popular rooting apps like KING ROOT, KINGO ROOT and ROOT GENEIUS etc., are not unable to root this mobile.

I am not sure i understand your qeustion but when u used kingoroot did u use the app or program on the computer? because the one on the computer is very effective.
or u can do it another way but i have to ask do you have a custom rom on your phone?

You can look on xda forums for a bootloader unlock method then you can root.
