Ok do u still have fastboot?? If so just reflash twrp go to wipe do a factory reset and or format data that should get u back to normal. Oh my xiaomi mi 8 I have to push volume down and power try it that way but when u fastboot reboot be ready to push the buttons wait till the bootloader warning screen gose away just as ur splash screen comes on then push volume down and power

Try both volume up and down and power. You can also restore stock firmware using this guide:

The problem isn’t that i don’t have fastboot, the problem is when i do volume + or volume + and power twrp doesn’t popup and my phone keeps reloading with the redmi logo

So you’re holding Vol up + Power and releasing them as soon as the logo pops up? If you’re still bootlooping then it sounds like the recovery flash didn’t take properly, trust me it happens. I would do like Max is saying and flash back to stock in Fastboot and start over.

You should still be able to get into fastmode mode.

Does it reboot every 10 seconds? If so. Then you can try volume up and power or volume down and power.
